Senior Associate - Canvas Tester

As a Tester in Talent Acquisition Operations at Capital One, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for partnering with the recruitment organization and our downstream HR partners to continuously improve our recruiter and candidate experience. The qualified candidate will be primarily responsible for performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), in Capital One’s homegrown Talent Acquisition product, Canvas and collaborating with Product & Tech teams on the build out of interview scheduling functionality within Canvas.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize our test environments to perform User Acceptance Testing and troubleshoot Canvas system issues

• Engage with Talent Acquisition, Tech and Product teams and/or HR partner groups to define acceptance criteria, perform proof of concept and regression testing, and build out testing timelines

• Create and maintain job aids to assist recruiters with system steps and procedural guidance

• Facilitate demos of the tool to stakeholders and run ad hoc trainings as needed to Recruiting partners

• Creating unique and robust test plans ensuring all acceptance criteria is captured

• Perform bi-annual regression testing, leveraging Kainos, an automation testing tool

We are looking for individuals who excel in a collaborative team environment, have strong verbal and written communication skills, able to manage multiple priorities, can proactively identify and solve problems, and possess the ability to adapt to change quickly.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

• At least 2 years of User Acceptance Testing experience

• At least 1 year working in a HR or Recruiting environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of process management experience

• 1+ year of training experience

• Experience Working in an Agile environment

• Proficiency with GSuite

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated customer service skills, attention to detail and decision making skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $86,300 - $98,400 for Sr. HR Associate

 

Richmond, VA: $78,400 - $89,500 for Sr. HR Associate

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
