Quality Engineer Intern

Job Description

Danfoss in Tallahassee, FL is searching for a Quality Engineer Intern. This internship will support the Quality group in documenting and directing many aspects of the Global Quality Department.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.  

• Assist in the development and maintenance of business and quality systems
• Analyze processes and systems to ensure the most efficient use of resources and data.
• Support with implementation of basic statistical analysis tools to evaluate data.
• Maintaining updated information on the KPI site for the Department
• Document Inspection plans
• Coordinate containment activities including third party notification and setup on production supplier quality issues.
• Assist driving root cause and corrective action on Quality Notifications to Suppliers

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

• Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). SAP experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced and demanding environment are required
• Availability to work 20 hours/week during the Spring/Fall semesters & 20-40 hours/week in the Summer.
• Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the Tallahassee work location
