Technician Medical Surgical (MA) - Queens Medical Group - Oncology - Flushing - Full Time - Days

This is a Full-Time 36.25 hour Monday-Friday position with hours 9:00AM-5:00PM and overtime as needed. The practice is located at 56-45 Main Street Flushing, NY.

May be required to cover for other practice locations within Queens based on operational needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in exam room preparation
• Triaging patients
• Drawing and Collecting samples
• Taking vital signs

Preferred Criteria

• Epic experience
• Experience working in a busy outpatient practice
• Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification through AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCT
• Bilingual (Mandarin, and Cantonese)

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• A minimum of one-year medical assistant experience or internship in a physician practice
