Genesys is seeking a talented individual to join the Strategy and Operations Team to help solve the most pressing and challenging business problems of one of the world’s largest privately held software companies. The Business Transformation Director will play an integral part in achieving world-class operations for Genesys using our strategic plan as a guide and focusing on problem solving, process optimization, change excellence, analytics and insights. This role reports directly to the VP, Business Transformation Initiatives and regularly interacts with senior and executive leaders on strategy, planning, and operational execution. 

 

The Strategy and Operations Team is at the center of accelerating Genesys’ ability to deliver against its strategic and financial goals. The scope of initiatives is largely focused on cross-functional transformation, driving revenue growth, operational improvement, and M&A integration. The ideal candidate must be comfortable deriving meaning and relevance from imperfect information based on raw data, stakeholder interviews, and operational investigations.  

  

Primary responsibilities include:  

  • Managing and leading cross-functional initiatives from ideation through operationalization, honoring commitments for timeliness, quality, budget, and business outcomes.  

  • Developing plans to manage end-to-end activities, success criteria, roadmap, milestones, teaming, deliverables.  

  • Analyzing complex ideas, business cases and organizational issues and building meaningful recommendations leading to the development of a strategy and roadmap for execution 

  • Creating and maintaining analytic frameworks and corporate dashboards to facilitate ongoing performance governance.  

  • Driving collaboration and communication to ensure initiative success, including integration of dependencies.  

  • Proactively mitigating risks, issues and obstacles raised by stakeholders, ensuring action items are clearly defined, assigned to owners, and driven to resolution in a timely manner.  

  • Partnering with leadership to develop, deploy and govern initiative standards, best practices, and success measures.  

  • Performing retrospectives, guiding improvements, and sharing best practices.  

  

Qualifications:  

  • Minimum of 10 years in transformation leadership, project management, and/or scrum master experience  

  • Experience in leading large-scale initiatives, preferably using lean/agile and ADKAR methodologies  

  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau and Salesforce   

  • Robust analytics and structured problem-solving skills  

  • Passion and expertise in SaaS/Cloud strategy, transformation, and continuous improvement 

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional groups and influence without authority  

  • High emotional intelligence and executive presence   

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and “can go with the flow” 

  • Ability to navigate organizational change with ease 

  • Ability to think outside the box and come to the table with proposed solutions 

  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communications skills  

  • Ability to quickly form productive and positive working relationships

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$137,600.00 - $270,100.00
