The L&D  Reporting and Compliance Associate works as a team member as part of the L&D team to effectively and efficiently implement, monitor and report on various learning solutions / programmes across the region or within a particular territory. This individual will be an integral part of our compliance and reporting efforts. The role will involve supporting the Regional Reporting and Compliance Generalist with  monitoring and compliance activities, and ensuring accurate reporting. 

This individual must remain cognizant of how L&D programmes fit within the broader context of the firm, the LoS and L&D priorities. The incumbent must also ensure that assigned project tasks/responsibilities are delivered with high impact, high quality, and differentiated client service.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and preparing L&D compliance reports

  • Use data analytics and visualisation tools to provide reports for various stakeholders

  • Assist with maintaining and updating the L&D systems and communication tools

  • Work closely with Regional L&D leads and other team members to identify gaps in the reporting  and compliance process and develop strategies to reinforce the process

  • Perform compliance-related reviews to assess adherence to policies and standards

  • Assist in preparing completion certificates and training records

  • Respond to and resolve  compliance queries in a timely manner

  • Effectively collaborating with other L&D team members to generate ideas and resolutions on issues that improve L&D processes and reporting

  • Consulting with/providing guidance to L&D team members on compliance and regulatory standards, including following up with L&D team members on missing, delinquent or non-compliant information

  • Owning L&D course compliance documentation processes (ie NASBA, IRS, etc) and associated systems, portals and tools

Preferred skills

  • Strong digital acumen, in particular in the use of data analytics and visualisation tools.

  • Basic-level project management skills and ability to develop more advanced skills over time.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to various levels of staff   

  • Apply and adapt their skills to frequently changing circumstances. 

  • Work independently and proactively consult to resolve issues.

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Prioritise their time to complete project tasks/deliverables within established project timeframes. 

  • Develop and leverage their network of relationships with both territory and regional contacts to accomplish goals. 

  • Provide the attention to detail necessary to assure quality of deliverables.

  • Demonstrate solid judgement and excellent problem solving skills.
