Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program facing Supplier Quality First Line Manager to join our team in Renton supporting the 737 program in Renton, Washington.

This role is critical in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the supply chain and production processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in supplier quality, production, and program quality, with a proven ability to navigate conflicts and foster collaborative relationships.

Key Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees quality processes to ensure all incoming materials/parts/assembly meet quality standards and specifications

  • Leads supplier quality investigations to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to drive quality improvements and resolve quality-related issues

  • Prepares and presents executive reports on supplier quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives for area of responsibility

  • Develops and maintains partnerships with suppliers to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement

  • Navigates conflicts effectively, facilitating discussions to reach mutually beneficial solutions

  • Monitors and analyzes supplier performance metrics, providing feedback and support to suppliers as needed

  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory and company quality standards

  • Leads, motivates, trains, coaches, and manages a team of individual contributor investigators

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, quality, or a regulated industry

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • 3+ years of experience developing and reporting performance metrics

  • 3+ years of experience presenting to executive level management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality assurance, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives

  • 3+ years of experience utilizing data visualization tools including excel and/or Tableau

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Quality Process Improvements

  • Team lead experience

  • Experience using various problem solving methods and critical thinking skills

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate conflicts and build partnerships with suppliers, teams, and internal stakeholders

Summary pay range: $133,000 - $154,000
