Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled SQL Big Data Analyst to join our team focused on analyzing data from pre/post-launched Samsung mobile products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SQL querying and data manipulation, with a strong understanding of big data technologies and mobile device ecosystems. This role offers the opportunity to work with vast datasets to derive insights and optimize mobile device performance.

• Retrieve and analyze large datasets from various sources, including mobile devices, sensors, and user interactions, using SQL queries.

• 2. Design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.

• 3. Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to clean, transform, and integrate data from disparate sources.

• 4. Perform in-depth analysis of mobile device usage patterns, performance metrics, and user behaviors to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.

• 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations.

• 6. Create and maintain documentation for data schemas, pipelines, and analysis methodologies.

• 7. Build interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders.

• 8. Stay updated on the latest developments in SQL technologies, big data frameworks, and mobile device trends to continuously improve analytical capabilities.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in SQL development and database management, with proficiency in complex query optimization and performance tuning.

• Solid understanding of relational database concepts, big data technologies and experience working with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Python).

• Experience with ETL tools and techniques for data integration and preprocessing.

• Understanding and experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficiency speaking and writing in both English and Korean is required

Skill sets:

• SQL Proficiency: Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis. Strong understanding of database management systems and query optimization techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of mobile device architectures, operating systems (Android), mobile app development and 4G/5G wireless protocol is a plus.
