JOB SUMMARY: 

Our cooks are responsible for providing exceptional service and nutritional food to our campers, guests, and staff. Would be required to use a variety of industrial kitchen appliances (deep fryer, pizza oven) to prepare foods. Must be able to follow basic instruction and multi-task to prepare the proper amount of food in a timely manner and properly clean the kitchen area after service.

• Strong cooking ability, with understanding of all basic cooking techniques  

• Ability to use basic kitchen utensils and equipment  

• Ability to follow recipes and use basic math to determine preparation quantities  

• Well-spoken and articulate over the phone, through written contact, and in person   

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision, agile, and able to pivot quickly  

• Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and accountability  

• Strong attention to detail  

• Comfortable handling confidential information   

• Successful working in an independent and team environment  

• Be punctual and prepared to greet and serve guests in a cordial, professional manner with a smile and positive attitude
