Director, Collections

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Collections based in Canada.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for building and scaling a modern, data-driven collections function within a fast-growing digital financial services environment. You will own the end-to-end collections lifecycle across multiple lending products, ensuring strong recovery performance while protecting customer relationships and brand trust. Acting at the intersection of operations, credit risk, compliance, and technology, you will design strategies that balance financial performance with a highly empathetic client experience. The role requires a builder mindset, as you will establish frameworks, tools, and teams that define how collections operates at scale. You will also play a key role in shaping AI-enabled collections strategies, leveraging automation and analytics to improve outcomes.
