Your Team & Role 

As a Lead, Platform Engineer on Adobe Experience Team, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers and delivery professionals to to enhance and build solutions on this platform.  You will code, test and debug new and existing applications as you implement capabilities to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers! In addition to advanced technical expertise and experience, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.  

 

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day  

• Collaborate with product management, marketing, and fellow technologists to design, develop and deliver frictionless multi-channel experiences
• Provide technical guidance and be a technical mentor to SCRUM team. Lead the pre-sprint technical design and grooming activities
• Drive user story analysis, elaboration and design. Thrives to ensure code quality is high with supporting unit test and automation.
• Contributes to high-level architecture and drives low-level design. Champion modular design, reuse, separation of concern, high cohesion and loose coupling
• Employ industry best practices to deliver world-class solutions. Ensure developed solutions remain compliant with all applicable Prudential standards
• Enable change, help accelerate innovation and ensure customer delight
• Drive software development activities to meet schedules and timelines
• Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems
• Ensure that software standards and quality targets are met

The Skills & Expertise You Bring 

• Experience developing mission critical web and server applications in agile environment
• Possess excellent software architecture, design and problem-solving skills
• Experience with agile development methodologies and TDD
• 2+ years’ experience with Big Data platforms or Adobe Experience Cloud products
• 2+ years’ experience with backend technologies including Java, J2EE, Tomcat, REST
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions for the cloud
• 3+ years’ experience with data modeling, table design, data mapping to table structures (ER diagram), event driven implementation.
• 3+ years’ experience with Adobe Experience Platform or similar CDP
• Knowledge of using XDM, Segmentation, Datasets, Attribution AI, Customer AI, DMP & CJA
• 2+ years’ experience with building omni-channel orchestration and knowledge of WebSDK.
• 4+ years’ experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML and ability to discuss modeling in a way that both data scientists and marketers will appreciate
• 2+ years’ experience with Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics solutions
• Extremely proficient in using one of the IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ or Microsoft Visual Studio
• Working experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Launch & Adobe Marketo Engage
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Artifactory, SonarQube, Selenium, Jenkins is highly desirable
• Experience with monitoring and logging techniques and tools such as CloudWatch, Nagios, Splunk and Dynatrace etc
• AEP Developer Certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $138,500.00 to $206,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many
