We are looking for an Electromechanical Assembler to join Temperature+ System Products, USA in Greenwood, Indiana to work with a dynamic team and deliver world-class temperature products. Endress+Hauser Temperature+System Products is one of the leading global suppliers of temperature measurement, temperature engineered solutions and system products. 

  

What is the role about?  

This role is responsible for day-to-day operations in the final assembly of high-quality temperature devices. Implements and executes operator preventative maintenance tasks to support machines. Completes production plan to ensure on-time delivery. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.   

  

Which tasks will you perform?  

  •  Asseble devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete unit or subassembly at appropriate location, including programming transmitters and using a laser
  • Perform visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operation 

  • Participate in cross training on production process in your work area 

  • Determine the correct pack to use for each device to ensure no damage during shipment
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area in conjunction with 5S Lean concept 

  • Utilize computer applications to perform automated testing of devices and close production orders upon completion  
  • Use production and software systems to look up or enter information that supports the area  

  • All other duties as assigned  

 

What do we expect from you?​  

  •  Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated  
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and operate machines  

  • Able to follow written and verbal directions  

  • Can read and understand basic drawings, diagrams, and production orders  

  • Must be flexible and willing to learn different positions  

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related fabrication experience or equivalent professional training.  
  • Must be detail oriented
