Account Manager

Shipley Energy is hiring for an exciting position on the Commercial Sales Team. This role is a sales position on the Account Management Team where you will help retain and grow our book of commercial customers.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location: Hybrid in York, PA
Starting at: $50k - $55k plus commission

Responsibility + Expectations:

• Exceed budgeted gross profit margins for Natural Gas, Propane, Mobile Fueling, and Electricity supply
• Retain minimum 85% of existing customers within established margins
• Enter new prospects into Salesforce daily
• Maintain contact schedule and record into Salesforce
• Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty
• Work collaboratively with sales and operations teams and fosters a culture of continuous process improvement
• Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals
• Work with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service
• Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or equivalent experience
• Committed to the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity, and innovation
• Proficient in computer technology including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Able to develop customer proposals, sales, and profit assumptions
• Valid driver’s license
• Access to a motor vehicle and capacity to travel
• Prior sales experience preferred
