THE ROLE
FBN is seeking an experienced Sales Effectiveness Manager to design and institute a formal sales training and development program, supporting go-to-market and commercial initiatives across the organization. This role will be part of the Sales Enablement team and responsible for ensuring that sales employees and commercial channel partners are equipped with and utilizing the tools, knowledge and resources available to them.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally across global market teams to:
- Measure the current and ongoing state of FBN’s commercial readiness, including product fluency, system knowledge and sales skills, across our global commercial teams; using surveys, questionnaires, interviews or other tools
- Work with various stakeholders, including community builder leadership, general managers, product marketing, country managers and sales managers, to identify product knowledge and/or skill gaps
- Develop strong relationships at the Account Executive, Sales Director and Regional Director levels, participating periodically in team meetings
- Work with sales leadership and human resources to increase new hire sales effectiveness
- Partner with agronomy, category management, program management, data analyst, buy/store team members, product marketing managers, customer experience and others to understand, develop, curate and deliver important information and content to the commercial organizations
- Use virtual, in person, pre-recorded, written, presentations, content management system and/or other channels to deliver information/content that sales teams can effectively consume
- Communicate and report on customer and field insights to continuously improve the sales enablement, the sales team and customer experience
- Be a key member of the team implementing and maintaining the company content management system
- Develop systems for online learning, including development of online modules, management of learning incentive programs and management of learning management software.

Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree with 7+ years in marketing, sales, learning & development or other related field in the agriculture industry
- Experience with sales team development and training; proven success as mentor/coach
- Experience developing/retrieving content utilizing GSuite, Tableau, Salesforce, Marketo, Wrike, Canva or other content creation platforms
- Ability to create material that aligns with rep experience level
- Ability to influence at all levels, with proven track-record of cross-functional collaboration and consensus building
- Ability to adapt and demonstrate agility in response to business needs
- Very strong written and verbal communication with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong passion for learning and teaching others
- Motivated and self starting; driven by building something new individually and with a team
- Operate effectively within ambiguity and manage competing priorities
- Must be willing to travel at least 25% of the time
