About the role

As the Senior Communications and Change Management Transformation Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving and communicating transformation initiatives across the organization. You will be responsible for managing all internal communications related to transformation efforts, as well as contributing to the strategy and execution of change management initiatives with our employee workforce.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies and measurements to effectively convey transformation objectives, progress, and impact to internal stakeholders.

- Lead the creation and dissemination of clear, compelling, and consistent messaging that aligns with the company's vision, values, and strategic goals.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Digital Transformation, HR, Marketing, Communications and business leaders, to ensure alignment and coherence in communication efforts. (The individual will work closely with Global MarComms Centers of Excellence (CoEs) with media relations, social media, thought leadership (all content & insights) and brand to name a few; liaise with Global MarComms disciplines to drive communications deliverables)

- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic guidance on communication approaches and tactics.

- Identify and anticipate potential communication challenges or issues and develop proactive strategies to address them effectively.

- Ensure that leadership are aligned on change initiatives.  This involves working closely with senior executives to communicate the vision and benefits of change, ensuring that leadership consistently models the behaviors and practices being promoted.

- Designing and implementing programs that actively engage employees in the change process, ensuring that changes are embedded into the organization’s culture and practices long-term.

- Drive change management initiatives by assessing organizational readiness, identifying change management dimensions, and implementing targeted interventions to facilitate smooth transitions.

- Empower and engage employees at all levels of the organization by fostering a culture of transparency, openness, and trust.  

- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication and change management efforts, making data-driven adjustments as needed to optimize adoption, impact and tangible business outcomes.

- Act as a thought leader and advocate for transformation both within the organization and at a macro level for the enterprise, leveraging deep insurance knowledge and industry insights. (Development of thought leadership in collaboration with the Content & Insights CoE)

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate communications, change management, or related roles within the insurance or financial services industry.

- Proven track record of successfully leading communication and change management initiatives in complex organizational environments.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and messages clearly and persuasively.

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

- Deep understanding of insurance industry dynamics, market trends, and regulatory considerations.

- Experience working with senior executives and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

- Familiarity with best practices and methodologies in change management, organizational development, and employee engagement.

- Collaborative mindset, with a passion for building relationships and fostering teamwork.

- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality.
