What You Will Do
- The Columbus Engine Centers Military Engine Center of Excellence (MECoE) is looking for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) L3 inspectors who will work with internal P&W business units, suppliers, and partners to develop and continuously improve NDT systems. As a member of the MECoE NDT team, you will perform NDT audits, provide technical guidance, inspection system oversite and drive process improvements. Specific NDT L3 proficiencies being considered are: Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Magnetic Partial Inspection (MPI), and Fluorescent Penetrant Testing (FPI).
- This is a 1st shift opportunity
- This position will work directly with the QP&E team.
- Must be able to perform all setup requirements per work instructions and report performance goals.
- Must perform Ultrasonic Inspections using IRT or Matec Systems.
- This position entails working at a desk while monitoring a computer screen in a controlled environment.
Qualifications You Must Have
- HS Diploma or GED
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Currently hold or able to obtain an NDT Level 3 in one or more NDT methods within 180 days of hire.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Minimum 8 years’ experience, or training in a related field and a minimum 5 years’ experience working in a MAG/NDT or Sonic Inspection Section.
- 4 years as a certified NDT L2 inspector

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
