Located in rural Greene County, Pennsylvania, Waynesburg Animal Hospital is a well-known and respected three-doctor small animal practice committed to providing high-quality, compassionate medical and surgical care. We’re looking for an experienced and/or licensed Veterinary Technician to join our hardworking, animal-loving team.

What You’ll Do

  • Support veterinarians during examinations, treatments, procedures, and surgeries.
  • Provide attentive, compassionate nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patients.
  • Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures.
  • Assist with medication administration, treatments, and patient monitoring.
  • Support anesthesia, surgical preparation, monitoring, and recovery.
  • Collect and process laboratory samples and assist with diagnostic testing.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
  • Communicate with clients and provide education regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Keep treatment and patient-care areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the day.
  • Collaborate with doctors and teammates to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care.
