Our trainee program - Young DSV

Young DSV program is an entry level program within logistic giving our trainees the best start to a career at DSV. In our global trainee program, you will graduate as a certified freight forwarder. You will be a part of a two year program together with trainees from other DSV countries all around Europe enabling to build an international network. During your two year training you will work as a freight forwarder combined with 8 theoretical moduls.

During the two years, you will receive a lot of practical “on the job” training in a local DSV department as well as in-class training at our Headquarter in Denmark. The theoretical part of the program consists of eight different modules conducted by Danish business school (IBC) and internal DSV specialists & trainers.

 

 

 Who are we looking for?

If you have a drive and talent and enjoy taking responsibility, we'll give you the support you need to explore your potential and forward your career within the world of Supply Chain.

In DSV, we are looking for people who are ambitious, curious, and willing to learn, develop and grow. The program is flexible depending on your background and prior education.

However, we expect that you:

• Have an education in transport and/or logistics.
• Enjoy working in a busy and unpredictable environment.
• Are driven by results and by improving yourself.
• Are interested in providing excellent service to our customers.
• Are proactive and self-confident.
• Understand numbers and enjoy finding creative solutions to challenges.
• Are a good team-player.
• Are fluent in English both oral and written.
• Are ready for a 2-year training program which will kick start an international career - maybe even abroad!
