Our Newcastle location offers a unique and supportive work environment in a scenic, open-campus setting. Nestled near the Black Hills and close to Rapid City, SD, this area is perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors.

Location: Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp - 40 Pippin Rd. Newcastle, WY 82701

  • Male and Female population

 

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM (40-hour week), with occasional evenings up to 8:00 PM (rotating shift 1-2 days).

 

Residential Substance Abuse Counselors are responsible for:

  • Preparing and facilitating group counseling sessions, educational programs, and lectures to assist clients in meeting therapeutic goals
  • Conducting individual counseling to provide crises intervention, support & guidance, and address client behaviors and personal problems
  • Documenting clients’ progress and responses to treatment
  • Maintaining client records; ensuring records are complete, accurate, and up to date
  • Ensuring client safety and well-being
  • Monitoring client behavior dur
