Pay 12 

Reports To: General Manager

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager for Restaurant Associates overseeing  multiple sites for a single corporate client is a key leader in the success of our food & physical safety programs. 

 

As the QA Manager, you will:

 

Ensure all locations are following the latest food and workplace safety standards.
Coordinate & monitor safety trainings at the unit
Schedule and manage location site visits
Participate in Regional Safety Champion efforts to help drive both workplace and food safety progress
Manage Third-Party Assessment Program (Vendors & Internal Self- Assessments)
Provide updates to Senior Leadership regarding food and physical safety 
Ensure safety program compliance.
 

Required Competencies:

 

Ability to work independently producing positive results
Strong attention to detail
Ability to teach and train various skills and subjects to individuals and small groups pertaining to safety & sanitation
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Ability to problem solve and give pragmatic solutions
Knowledge of local and state Health Code
ServSafe certified and possess a valid a NYCDOH Food Protection card
CP-FS Certification, strongly preferred
 

Education and Experience:

 

College degree or equivalent work experience.
5-10 years kitchen experience OR 3-5 years field experience as an inspector.
