The role will entail close alignment with Sourcing, Engineering and Quality functions, as well as with other key stakeholders, and will be focusing on electrical materials.<br/><br/>You'll manage dynamic priorities, necessitating minimal guidance, and emphasize effective communication with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and suppliers.<br/><br/>What we offer: A key role in a dynamic, international working environment with a large degree of flexibility of work agreements, competitive benefits, and great development opportunities.<p></p><p></p><p></p><h1><span><b>Job Description</b></span></h1><p><b><u>Role &amp; Responsibilities:</u></b></p><p></p><p><i><b>Overall</b></i></p><ul><li><p>Manage supplier activities to ensure the quality of assigned Commodity components.</p></li><li><p>Be the technical focal point to coordinate Sourcing, Engineering, Quality functions while interfacing with suppliers.</p></li><li><p>Drive consistency and adherence to quality procedures and specification requirements.</p></li><li><p>From Order to Delivery oriented fully accountable of quality &amp; technical topics</p></li><li><p>Manage panel of supplier up to 30 suppliers (could be more for regional commodity)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i><b>Supplier Approval – Supplier Selection</b></i></p><ul><li><p>Request Eligibility doc from to supplier in line with compliance rules</p></li><li><p>Manage supplier qualifications as required assuring that assigned suppliers have capability and processes to deliver high quality product</p></li><li><p>Support Compliance/Maturity audits (EHS, Manufacturing process, Inspection process) to assure that Suppliers have effective process control, rigorous product acceptance standards, and robust quality systems</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i><b>Supplier Qualification – Product Qualification</b></i></p><ul><li><p>Review MPP/ Control plan provided by supplier for each specific project</p></li><li><p>Perform Risk Analysis (Supplier/Product) &amp; propose mitigation plan (expediting, inspection, supervisor ….)</p></li><li><p>Provide technical guidance to suppliers to assure product/process compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.</p></li><li><p>Follow Manufacturing according to MPP (Q record on time; Quality data book follow up; complete Manufacturing process control report)</p></li><li><p>Review preliminary documents and built the product quality data book. Prepare product quality documents focus on customer requirement</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i><b>Supplier Continuous Improvement</b></i></p><ul><li><p>Drive continuous improvement of supplier's quality, cycle, and delivery performance</p></li><li><p>Manage supplier non-conformance and Deviation activities; identify and drive process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation</p></li><li><p>Conduct process capability analysis for Critical to Quality (CTQ) characteristics. Work with suppliers to improve process capability</p></li><li><p>Support Sourcing Quality and cost out initiatives</p></li><li><p>Lead cross functional initiatives to improve part quality</p></li><li><p>Manage Low Performer (on regular basis) link to NCR, Audit results, Planning, Manufacturing issues.</p></li><li><p>Be involved into claim management process (ensure that all data needed for claim are available and relevant to launch recovery program)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Required Qualifications:</u></b></p><ul><li><p><b>Education: </b>Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechanical fields (or equivalent experience/knowledge with t<span>echnical diploma</span>).</p></li><li><p><b><u>Experience: Demonstrated experience in quality or manufacturing activities of electrical and/or mechanical commodities.</u></b></p></li><li><p>Knowledge of international standards (such as ASME/ISO/DIN e.g).</p></li><li><p><b>Language: </b>Fluency in English language.</p></li><li><p><b><u>Traveling: Ability and willingness to travel </u></b><b><u>within Europe</u></b><b><u> as required (min 30%).</u></b></p></li><li><p>Demonstrated technical aptitude and a passion for quality.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in cross-functional and global team environments</p></li><li><p><b>Personality: </b>Highly self-motivated</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Desired Qualifications:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Audit certification</p></li><li><p>NDT certifications (PT, MT, VT)</p></li><li><p>Six sigma or equivalent quality certification.</p></li><li><p>Extensive experience in Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing or Engineering</p></li><li><p>Strong background in interpretation of Engineering <span>drawings/specifications,</span> metrology, and manufactur
