Responsibilities

• Ensures and verifies that all plant departments and employees are adhering to the quality standards and guidelines of the company.
• Takes samples, tests, records, and reports basic physical, chemical, and biological properties of ingredients, formulations, packaging, and other associated material, leading to their acceptance, approval, or disposition.
• Actively monitors, teaches, and enforces plant sanitation policies, GMP’s, HACCP, and methods for allergen control
• Prepares, maintains, monitors, and tracks plant documentation
• Monitor the departmental efficiency, testing and approval times, yields, scrap loss, and other key indicators
• Teaches, instructs, and leads plant employees in issues regarding sanitation
• Accurately prepares and maintains all departmental forms and documents. Monitors the completion of paperwork by other departments, emphasizing optimum record keeping within all plant areas.

Job Requirements

• Follow GMP’s and safety protocols
• Basic math, biology, and chemistry knowledge is required
• Attention to detail
• Team effort and communication
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds occasionally

Hours: Monday - Friday

• 1st Shift: 6am - 2:30pm

Compensation

$20.50 per hour.
