The Operations Support role with Bethel Global Response is a hands-on, mission-critical position focused on ensuring excellence in the preparation, logistics, and execution of disaster response deployments. This role supports field operations, maintains equipment and infrastructure, and ensures organizational readiness for City Project, domestic and international relief efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, flexible, and passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God through practical service in crisis-impacted areas.
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Salary: $25.00 Per Hour
Key Responsibilities:
Field Deployment Operations
- Assist in staging, packing, and mobilizing teams and resources for disaster deployments, supply runs, and recovery efforts
- Support on-the-ground logistics during active deployments, including setup, safety procedures, and resource coordination
- Maintain readiness systems for rapid response, including checklists, inventory, and deployment kits
Site & Shop Management
- Oversee organization, functionality, and cleanliness of BGR’s and City Project outdoor shop and storage areas
- Ensure that tools, gear, and equipment are well-maintained and stored in alignment with safety protocols
Logistics & Transportation
- Coordinate transportation and loading of supplies for various BGR and City Project initiatives
- Support vehicle and trailer readiness, including packing, weight distribution, and securing loads for travel
Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance
- Manage routine inspections and repairs for BGR vehicles, trailers, and operational equipment
- Track maintenance schedules and ensure tools are safe, functional, and deployment-ready
Event & Mission Support
- Provide logistics and field support during outreach events and international missions
- Help ensure site setup, volunteer coordination, and safety systems are in place during ministry efforts
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with BGR leadership to align daily tasks with long-term strategies and deployment planning
- Communicate effectively with team members, volunteers, and partner organizations to execute operational goals
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding environments
- Willingness to travel and serve in disaster-affected areas (domestic/international)
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to solve problems under pressure
- Team player with a servant-hearted, Kingdom-focused mindset
Preferred:
- Experience in field operations, logistics, or emergency response
- Familiarity with tools, vehicles, and maintenance practices
- Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified
