As a Director of Clinical Care, you will oversee clinical operations, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care while leading and developing your team. Your role will involve supervising personnel, managing clinical compliance, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering a culture of excellence. By balancing compassionate leadership with operational efficiency, you’ll help ensure that every resident receives the best possible care in a supportive, dignified environment.
As a Director of Clinical Care, you will:
- Lead & Develop Clinical Teams – Train, mentor, and evaluate staff while maintaining effective scheduling and staffing systems. Provide leadership, problem-solving support, and ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality care.
- Ensure High-Quality Resident Care – Oversee resident well-being by collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, supporting clinical goals, and providing hands-on care as needed. Foster strong communication with residents and families.
- Maintain Compliance & Clinical Standards – Implement best practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage medical records accuracy. Coordinate resident clinical needs with internal teams and external healthcare providers.
- Foster Communication & Improvement – Promote transparency, teamwork, and process improvement to enhance care quality and organizational efficiency. Represent Vivie in industry events and committees as needed.

This job also requires:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in clinical care, assisted living, long-term care, or home health.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrated expertise in Electronic Health Record (EHR) software, with a solid understanding of patient data management, scheduling, and charting systems.
- Knowledge of assisted living regulations and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of nursing best practices, regulatory compliance, and care coordination.
- Ability to pass state mandated background check.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, families, and staff.
