Warehouse Manager - Lake Powell

Job Description

The job of the Warehouse Manager is to manage, supervise and coordinate warehousing, shipping and receiving for the assigned warehouse.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for preparation and execution of shipping and receiving policy and procedures.
2. Prepare annual budget process for assigned warehouse and provide assistance to departmental staffs on annual usages and supply levels.
3. Direct and plan all activities associated with the warehouse to include the following: staffing , schedules, training , counseling, customer service, daily housekeeping, shipping, and receiving, safety, cost/retail pricing, security and the upkeep of company vehicles and equipment.
4. Responsible for maintaining necessary inventory and in helping establish inventory levels based on prior usage and future demand.
5. Work closely with all departments to insure completion of company goals and objectives.
6. Follow company policies and procedures and define responsibilities of subordinates. Evaluate and conduct employee performance appraisals and relay information about the operation of our company to insure the company goals and objective are obtained.
7. Prepare reports within required time limits.

Qualifications

1. Supervisory skills
2. 3-5 years experience working in Warehouse
3. Capable of working with mid to upper management, ability to work independently with no direct supervision.
4. High School/GED equivalent preferred
5. Read, Speak and Write the English language
6. Computer software knowledge
7. Clean driving record
8. Valid driver’s license
9. 21 years or older
