We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and required to be in an office 2x a week

Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex programming assignments and develop mainframe applications using COBOL / CICS /VSAM and DB2

  • Lead other team members in the coding, testing and debugging of application programs Special short-term projects may be assigned

  • Investigate system and programming problems, propose solutions and recommend design improvements for increased efficiency

  • Build system and program test plans and procedures

  • Work with other Application Development teams to design new and enhance existing portions of the system to support new revenue, regulatory requirements and transformation.

  • Work closely with Product Team and Client Service teams to understand requirements for new projects and translate client business needs in Functional and Technical specifications.

  • Interface with QA team to complete thorough verification of all changes introduced into production, insuring zero defects and no production issues.

  • Develop test data and performs the unit testing ensuring that the programs perform according to program specifications.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ or more years of experience writing and testing code using Cobol, CICS, VSAM and DB2.

  • 3+ years of managerial experience leading mainframe teams

  • Full knowledge of SDLC development methodologies including SCRUM/Agile and Waterfall
    Technical abilities to include, but not limited to the following: Elixir, StreamWeaver, In Design, PDF and ACIF experience. Exstream Dialog, Cobol and JCL knowledge a plus.

  • Management experience is a plus

  • Proven social skills as well as analytical capabilities

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent IT experience

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $140,000 - $170,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
