POSITION SUMMARY
The School- Based Health Center (SBHC) Department partners with three school districts to provide comprehensive health services across seven SBHCs. The SBHCs reduce health inequities by focusing on prevention and youth empowerment. NAHC is looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that will work closely with youth clients and families, behavioral health, medical, and other health care staff; and other agencies to meet clients’ multiple clinical and non-clinical health needs.

Responsibilities include supporting school-based health center behavioral health clinicians by providing clinical supervision of licensed and non-licensed behavioral health staff and trainees in accordance with NAHC and professional standards. This position is active in developing, supporting, and implementing the wrap-around philosophy with its individualized, strengths-based, culturally-competent, and family-centered approach. This position will also provide department wide with clinical intakes, assessments, medical department consultation, and crisis services.

The Native American Health Center is an accredited institution and adheres to the standards of excellence by the Accreditation of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and the Commission of Dental Accreditation (CODA).

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Supervision & Program Support
1. Provide clinical support/clinical supervision needs for BH staff and ASW interns, including providing weekly individual and/or group face-to-face clinical supervision and clinical consultation as needed.
2. Provide expedient review, feedback, and completion of relevant / assigned supervisees’ clinical documentation. Services of supervisees may occur at
NAHC, in the community, or in a school setting.
3. Participate in and perform regular chart reviews.
4. Oversee timecards, Human Resource requirements, and work collaboratively with SBHC leadership and staff team to complete annual evaluations for direct reports.
5. Resolve staffing issues and facilitate conflict resolution for staff under direct supervision. Hire, discipline, evaluate and terminate staff in coordination with the Human Resources department.
6. Foster a team environment to effectively lead and retain your staff. Provide opportunities for staff to grow and develop new skills.
7. Serve as liaison between NAHC School-Based Health Department and NAHC Community Behavioral Health Department to provide integration and workflow alignment where appropriate.
8. Serve as a liaison between Graduate Schools of Social Work Internship Programs and NAHC’s School-Based Health Department.
9. Provide project support for youth trauma-informed services projects and grants, such as implementation reporting, sustainability planning, evaluation support, and training/webinar planning & participation.
10. Coordinate and network with other agencies on clinical services, activities, and trainings.
11. Quality Improvement: Work collaboratively with SBHC Director and serve as lead on BH related quality assurance and improvement teams (QA/QI) and work with members proactively to drive quality improvement initiatives in accordance with the mission and strategic goals of the organization, federal and state laws and regulations and accreditation standards.
12. Ensure meaningful participation by family, youth, and community members in prevention and evaluation processes via design, interpretation, and dissemination of findings in the context of clinical work or otherwise as indicated.
13. Engage in youth-oriented initiatives as needed to advance program development and expansion.
