We are looking for a Manager to join the National Practice Methodology & Innovation team. This person is responsible for managing multiple, simultaneous projects to adopt traditional assurance methodologies and processes with new and emerging technologies and automation activities.  Through this work, you’ll gain extensive exposure to the assurance practice and help drive our success on key initiatives. In this role you’ll collaborate with the Assurance Methodology – Managing Director and Assurance engagement teams to author guidance and firm templates, as well as provide training and coaching to engagement teams for proper utilization of firm methodology and emerging technologies. This position has the option to be fully remote or sit in any of our U.S. locations. 

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Collaborate with the Assurance Methodology – Managing Director to identify opportunities for enhancement of processes and procedures, with specific focus on automation.
• Integrate assurance methodologies, binder templates, and standardized templates with innovative and emerging technologies.
• Execute on the transformation of firm assurance methodologies.
• Participate as an integral project team member in the Methodology & Innovation department’s new and emerging technology initiatives.
• Lead development, integration, and testing activities of project-based initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with various subject matter experts.
• Become a primary super-user and post go-live support for assurance technologies owned by the Methodology & Innovation department
• Collaborate with National Assurance Operations to design and execute on roll-out activities of automation and other projects developed by the Methodology & Innovation department.
• Develop guidance and practice aids for use by assurance engagement teams utilizing Microsoft Office applications and various other tools within the firm.
• Develop training content, collaborate findings with the learning and development team, and delivering content to the firm’s professional staff.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA designation
• 7 plus years of experience in auditing and other assurance services
• Prior experience in application testing, automation of assurance processes and workflows, and new technology integration
• Creative mindset (ex. entrepreneurial, innovative) with the ability to generate new ideas and solutions
• Knowledge of assurance industry trends and best practices
• Possess strong technical expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Audit and Attest (GAAS, GAGAS, SSARS) requirements
• Possess strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills
