(Senior) Cloud Engineer / SKE Gardener - STACKIT (m/f/d)

As a dedicated STACKITEER, you are part of the STACKIT Products division. This is where our products and services are developed, tested and improved.

Your Responsibilities

• You drive the development and implementation of new features for the STACKIT Kubernetes Engine (SKE)
• You are responsible for the entire lifecycle of your services within the STACKIT Kubernetes Engine, from development to operation ('You Build It, You Run It')
• You actively contribute to the open source project Gardener, take responsibility for topics we drive in Gardener, and coordinate developments with other community members
• You develop and operate the SKE CI/CD infrastructure and the development environments for the SKE team across various regions

Your Profile

• You have sound development experience with Go
• You have practical experience in operating applications on Kubernetes
• Knowledge of administering your own Kubernetes clusters is a plus
• Ideally, you have experience in developing Kubernetes controllers/operators
• Your English, ideally combined with German, is the basis for successful communication in international, agile teams
