Your role in our team

 

  • As a Computational AI Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between machine learning, data science and real-world engineering applications in the biopharmaceutical field
  • Your tasks will involve developing advanced mathematical and machine learning models for time dynamic systems and developing new algorithms for regression analysis
  • Moreover, you will contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of our internal codebase and provide leadership to the existing team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages the application of both data science and engineering expertise

  

 

Your profile

 

  • A Master's or Ph.D. in computational science, chemical engineering, mathematical modelling, or a related field
  • Experience in applying machine learning within a software development context
  • A strong programming background is essential (Python3)
  • A strong background with deep neural networks and machine learning tools including relevant machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch or JAX. A plus if experienced with physics-informed neural networks
  • A mathematical background, with familiarity in solving partial differential equations (PDEs) and ordinary differential equations (ODEs)
  • Expertise in statistical regression modeling, including OLS and linear mixed models is advantageous
  • Competence in using Git for version control
  • Previous experience in biotechnology or the biopharmaceutical industry is not required

We offer an attractive salary package in line with your qualification, experience and individual competencies. We are legally obliged to state that the minimum salary for this position refers to the applicable collective agreement, which is EUR 40.000,00 p.a. (based on full-time). Of course, we are willing to pay a market-rate salary depending on your qualifications and professional background.
