Valeo’s Site located in Issoire (63), France is a Research & Development Center and a Production Site. It employs over 570 people working on the development and manufacture of sensor and camera cleaning systems for autonomous vehicles, as well wiper blades.

We are recruiting a Product Technical Project Manager M/F for our Sensor Cleaning business, an innovative activity that cleans the sensors on vehicles (lidars, cameras, sensors, etc.). He/She will be responsible for the technical management of a strategic customer project dedicated to a high-pressure pump with an integrated brushless motor, in a highly international context.

Your responsibilities :

• Act as the technical interface with the customer

• Ensure that definitions comply with Product/Process/Methodology standards

• Manage the dedicated resources (mechanical, software, hardware, systems, mechatronics, industrialisation, etc.) for the project in question : planning, monitoring changes, justifications…

• Guarantee that the design meets cost, deadline and quality objectives

• Manage the technical documents (justifications, Design Review, etc.) relating to the project. ) relating to the project

• Ensure product development in line with the standard ASPICE process

• Develop customer contacts to present technical solutions and the overall progress of the study

• Manage suppliers

• Participate in monitoring the production of prototype tools

• Monitor product validation up to the start of series production

About you :

With at least 5 years' experience in electronics product development and R&D project management, you will have a degree in mechatronics, electronics, systems or general engineering.

Recognised for your interpersonal skills and diplomacy, you are at ease working with a wide range of people, and know how to facilitate exchanges between different disciplines in order to optimise project progress and unite teams.

Your ability to synthesise information and your strong technical curiosity enable you to identify bottlenecks and raise them effectively.

Your level of English enables you to express yourself fluently both orally and in writing.

This position involves travelling abroad (suppliers, customers) according to the needs of the project.
