Facilities/Maintenance Associate

SUMMARY

Ensure general building maintenance and repairs for CED facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

• Paint interior and exterior of facilities.
• Assist in the area of carpentry, as required.
• Assist in the areas of mechanical, electrical and plumbing, as required.
• Assist in preventative maintenance duties.
• Perform power washing of CNE parking lots.
• Paint striping in parking lots.
• Monitor the mechanical and electrical equipment on the casino property.
• Check the water softening system chemical amount to ensure that the water stays properly treated.
• Mow, weed eat, and brush hog casino property.
• Renovate the casino.
• Keep the casino properly temperature regulated.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma and 2 years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Working knowledge of power tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work will be performed in a variety of settings, including, climate-controlled office settings and/or outdoors in all types of weather. Work will include lifting and adjusting heavy objects and will come in contact with sharp, hot and/or very cold supplies and equipment. Employee will be required to wear proper personal protective equipment and maintain safety procedures at all times. Employee may be called into work outside of normal work hours or work long hours for emergency maintenance and repair situations.
