Responsibilities
We are Hiring! We are looking for a Windows Systems Administrator. This individual will provide support for tickets submitted into the Service Now Windows Server ICT21 and WODC Windows Server ICT21 queues.
What you will do:
- Comprised primarily of configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
- Participate in project activity as required
- Maintain or create documentation
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- 2 years with BS/BA or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 2+ years of hardware support experience that must include, Dell, HP and UCS hardware.
- 2+ years of experience leading Windows troubleshooting initiatives
- Resolve Service Now Incident, Change and problem Windows Server tickets within Service Level Agreement.
- Build, upgrade, restore and decommission Windows physical, virtual and cloud servers.
- Test and migrate servers to new OS levels.
- Maintain patch levels and work with FDA security to address CISA vulnerabilities.
- Analyze system logs, optimize server performance, script shortcuts, and identify potential issues.
- Promptly investigate Solar Winds alerts for Windows servers, engage CIOCC and troubleshoot through resolution.
- Review, revise, and maintain Windows server documentation.
- Provide after-hours support and participate in on-call rotation.
- Hardware experience must include, Dell, HP and UCS hardware.
- Must have recent, hands-on Admin experience with the following:
- Experience leading Windows troubleshooting initiatives.
- Proactively engage customers and technical teams to address tickets/issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ensure that Windows servers operate at optimum levels and SLAs are met/exceeded
- Must be a UUS Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
Preferred Experience:
- Windows server 2016, 2019, 2022, clustering, IIS, AWS/Azure Cloud, Systems Admin with Active Directory, VMware, MS Exchange, Citrix, DHCP, DNS, Server hardening, patching/tuning, and security management.

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
