Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Lead the Future of AI in Semiconductor Manufacturing

We’re looking for a visionary leader who thrives with solving hard problems, mentoring others, and delivering real-world impact. Job Duties, but not limited to:

  • Architect and build the MLOps backbone of our AI products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate multi-functionally with team members, designers, and engineers to define and implement technical requirements.
  • Deploy sophisticated ML models at customer sites, ensuring seamless integration and high performance in production air-gapped environments.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by integrating the latest ML/AI research into real-world applications.
  • Lead the data pipeline—from dataset selection and preprocessing to quality assurance and model training.
  • Lead experimentation and statistical analysis to fine-tune models for optimal accuracy and efficiency.
  • Mentor and inspire junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying ML models for external customers—not just internal tools.
  • Deep expertise in Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.
  • Proven experience with foundational models and modern AI toolchains.
  • Strong analytical skills and a track record of solving sophisticated technical problems.
  • Excellent communication skills—you can explain sophisticated concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing projects or teams, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and 3 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Base Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $170,000.00 Annually

Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA
