About the Position:
The Registered Nurse Drug Room Liaison shall assist the pharmacist in procuring, receiving, storage, distribution, record keeping, and disposition of drug products and medications. This includes the storage and distribution of properly packaged and labeled drugs within the hospital, i.e., medication rooms/medication dispense machines on units.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain a secure, clean, and organized environment in the Drug Room and Medication Rooms on the unit.
Medication Inventory and Control
Discharge Medications Documentation
Drug Files and Recordkeeping
Safety and Regulation
Equipment Management
Team Collaboration

Primary Working Hours are 8:00am-4:30pm

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of possession of a valid Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and two years of professional nursing experience in a field of nursing appropriate to the health care setting.
OR Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) and two years of professional nursing experience in a field of nursing appropriate to the health care setting.
Special Requirements:
Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
