Manual QA Engineer

Colibrix.io is a payment facilitator, which provides payment services for merchants. We are a UK-based company with FCA license, which has a representative office in Riga.

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our team in Riga or remote.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in the quality assurance and testing domain in enterprise.
• Demonstrated proficiency in devising comprehensive test cases, designing detailed test plans, and writing precise test scripts with a focus on functional aspects.
• Solid expertise in testing across various platforms, with a particular emphasis on web testing across diverse devices and browsers.
• Proficiency in analyzing system requirements and corresponding documentation to derive relevant test cases.
• Strong ability to identify, document, and articulate discrepancies, bugs, and inconsistencies, especially within payment processing systems.
• Effective communication skills, fostering collaboration and adeptness at liaising with software developers, business analysts, and other vital stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Competence in creating and maintaining clear, precise documentation.
• A thorough understanding of business objectives and the capability to align testing procedures with these goals.
• Hands-on experience and deep understanding of payment systems' mechanisms and operations.

Desirable Qualities (Plus Points):

• Skillset in developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with renowned test automation tools and frameworks, including but not limited to Selenium, JUnit or TestNG etc.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS standards, complemented by an understanding of other regulatory stipulations associated with payment systems, gateways, APIs, and related protocols.
