Senior Graphic Designer

Senior Designers develop creative concepts and act as project leads who assist designers and junior designers. They are expected to specialize in a particular brand or process so they can act as the main resource for those tasks.

CREATIVE/HANDS-ON WORK 80%

• Support the Associate Creative Director with the development of concepts, strategies, and client presentations.
• Take on appropriate projects and own them, start to finish.
• Understand and follow brand standards, brand guidelines and toolkits.
• Manage multiple projects, tasks and functions.
• Follow business objectives, communication strategy and creative briefs.
• Use strong analytical thinking skills and develop compelling design solutions.
• Manage and work independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and design explorations to find the strongest creative response.
• Share responsibility with planning to shape strategic branding.

MANAGEMENT 20%

• Work with designers to produce standout and strategically focused concepts and campaigns.
• Work closely with your creative director, associate creative director and account executives to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Mentor Team Members and help them achieve agency creative standards.
• Work with Team Members to produce standout and strategically focused concepts and campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role
• Portfolio of completed design projects
• Hands-on experience with image editing software
• Proficient in design software (e.g. InDesign)
• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
• Attention to visual details
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
• BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts or experience in a relevant field
