Job Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator to oversee all clinical education and regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and update Clinical Training manual and job descriptions for all clinical positions
- Coordinate new hire orientation with basics: setting up email and accesses, phone training, review policies and procedures, etc.
- Oversee training of new clinical staff to ensure policies and procedures are learned, understood, followed and that all training is conducted properly and thoroughly. Includes routine visits to satellite offices
- Develop and implement a clinical competency program
- Develop and implement a mentorship program to support training efforts
- Manage and track all continuing education and clinical certification
- Incorporate OSHA regulations, HIPAA, and compliance in training programs
- Actively participate in updating and communication of policies and processes
- Collaborate closely with manager and Pod Leader to identify and correct workflow efficiencies
- Develop and implement OSHA policies and procedures designed to ensure the safe and efficient provision of clinical services in practice
- Ensure OSHA guidelines are being followed and the company is adhering to various laws and regulations
- Perform employee PPD testing as required for OSHA
- Investigate OSHA, workers compensation injuries, and incident reports to ensure staff receives medical treatment and that steps are taken to prevent future reoccurrences
- Maintain OSHA Form 300 log and meet any annual posting requirements
- Develop and implement HIPAA and compliance policies and procedures to ensure physicians and staff work within federal, state, and local guidelines. Review all policies and procedures annually as needed
- Investigate and report HIPAA violations, acting as the HIPAA Privacy Officer
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience with regulatory experience preferred.
