Pacific Clinics serves children, transitional-age youth, families, adults, and older adults. We offer a full range of mental and behavioral health services, foster care and social services, housing, continuing adult education and early childhood education programs to Medi-Cal-eligible individuals and families throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Fresno, Kings, Los Angeles, Madera, Orange, Placer, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Stockton, Tulare and Ventura Counties.   

Compensation We Offer

  •  The initial compensation for this position ranges from $85,050.01 - $104,600.79 per year.
  •  Salary is dependent on commensurate experience above the minimum qualifications for the role and internal equity considerations.
  •  The salary may also vary if you reside in a different location than the location posted. 
  •  8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD. and select Peer Certifications.*
  •  7.5% Bilingual Differential for qualified positions*
    • must meet company policy eligibility requirements.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm

About our Program:  HOPE Drop-In Center: Our drop-in center located in San Jose, California offers a safe haven for youth looking for hope and opportunities. The Hope Center aims to support and empower youth to have the tools needed to be successful adults. We offer an array of services such as: street outreach and engagement, peer support groups, music studio, mental health and healthcare services, education, community garden, laundromat, showers, hot meals, substance use disorder treatment, transportation to and from the center, linkage to other services, and workforce development.

JOB SUMMARY

Works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). Under minimal supervision and in partnership with all CCBHC leadership, manages, oversees, and ensures successful implementation of the full range of substance use services (drop-in center, prevention, treatment, and recovery supports) in school, clinic, and community based settings for youth and adults.  

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Substance Use Treatment

  1. Support Youth Services Recovery Support Coordinator, Peer Mentors, Addiction Specialists in delivery all aspects of substance use treatment. 
  2. Ensure availability of the full range of substance use treatment for the CCBHC (drop-in center, prevention, treatment, recovery supports, positive youth development).
  3. Partner with external resources to provide not directly provided by Uplift Family Services or the CCBHC. 
  4. Provide evidence-based secondary and tertiary interventions.
  5. Conduct trainings and presentations to internal and external audiences.
  6. Provides after-hours on-call crisis response/consultation.
  7. Works with the treatment team to provide appropriate coordinated care services to clients and their families.
  8. Works with a multicultural team sensitive to the cultural and linguistic needs of the clients and families served.
  9. Models Agency's approach, mission and core values in all communication and correspondence.
