Role Overview
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (1099 Contractor) to join our clinical team and deliver cutting-edge, biomarker-informed nutrition and fueling guidance. This role is designed for a nutrition expert who thrives at the intersection of science, data, and performance.
You’ll work closely with a clinician to interpret lab and diagnostic data—such as blood biomarkers, hormone panels, and micronutrient levels—and translate them into actionable nutrition strategies for active members. Eternal's product is lab-only, meaning your primary inputs will be diagnostic data, and your primary outputs will be personalized, performance-focused nutrition plans.This is a remote, flexible contract role built for a dietitian who wants to help members elevate their health, recovery, and athletic output through the precision of clinical data.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret Clinical Labs for Nutrition Insight: Analyze biomarker results (e.g., metabolic markers, nutrient status, inflammation, hormones) to guide personalized fueling and recovery strategies.
• Create Actionable Nutrition Plans: Translate lab data into member-friendly dietary plans and recommendations focused on performance, recovery, and longevity.
• Collaborate with Clinicians: Partner with Eternal’s physician contractors to co-develop integrated care recommendations.
• Support Lab-Only Workflow: Deliver insights via asynchronous written and/or recorded summaries; no live visits unless necessary.
• Educate and Empower: Simplify complex nutritional science and diagnostics into meaningful, digestible advice that members can implement.
• Stay Current with Research: Remain up-to-date on literature and trends in performance nutrition, functional biomarkers, sports physiology, and related domains.
• Contribute to System Design: Help shape internal protocols, content, and member-facing nutrition workflows as the product evolves.

Ideal Dietitian Profile

• Credentials: Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) with active license; bonus for NY, CT, PA, TX, FL
• Experience: 3+ years working with athletes, active individuals, or in performance/functional nutrition settings.
• Lab-Literate: Comfortable reviewing and interpreting a wide array of clinical lab panels and using data to drive recommendations.
• Performance-Oriented: Deep knowledge of sports nutrition, metabolic health, and strategic fueling for recovery and endurance.
• Clinically Fluent: Able to collaborate seamlessly with medical professionals and synthesize diet-related recommendations that align with broader health strategies.
• Effective Communicator: Skilled in presenting complex data and recommendations in a way that’s engaging, accessible, and actionable.
• Self-Directed and Systems-Minded: Able to work autonomously, contribute to internal process improvements, and help refine Eternal’s care model.
