Financial Analyst

This role will serve as a key resource for the Finance and Operations teams, providing accounting and analysis support for the Pleasant Prairie site.  Key responsibilities include processing of daily business transactions, month-end closing activities, and management reporting.  This position reports directly to the Pleasant Prairie Controller.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Daily execution of sales invoicing transactions
• Aid in further development of sales and operations KPIs
• Prepares and processes monthly journal entries
• Reviews general ledger activity and inventory transactions to ensure accounting accuracy
• Performs monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Provides routine reporting and variance analysis
• Capital expenditure tracking
• Assists with updating standard costs for new items
• Supports Site Controller in annual budgeting/rolling forecast processes as needed
• Performs ad hoc tasks as needed to support accounting department
• Helps ensure financial integrity of results by adhering to site and corporate policies, including SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• The position requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. 
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in finance or accounting in manufacturing environment. 
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, as well as willingness to accept and task ownership of new responsibilities in a fast-growing environment. 
• Additional requirements include a working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the ability to multi-task with moderate supervision. Experience with ERP Accounting system (IQMS) and Salesforce.com is a plus.
