POSITION SUMMARY:
The Saratoga Regional YMCA is hiring a Membership & Program Supervisor and we are excited to have you join our team! This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Membership & Program Supervisor will coordinate the responsibilities and functions of membership, programs and fitness within a local SRYMCA branch.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead the membership, engagement and enrollment program to promote recruitment of new members and retention of existing members. Organize assigned associates to support membership sales, development and retention of goals.
- Recruit and onboard membership staff.
- Manage the membership desk schedule and staff.
- Identify and resolve problem areas to ensure member satisfaction and develop a method to handle member inquiries.
- Coordinate the review, tracking and evaluation of membership and participant statistics.
- Coordinate through Daxko Engage and continually monitor the system to enable associates to successfully respond to wants, needs and interests of members and participants.
- Promote membership and program enrollment.
- Coordinate branch programs and program registration.
- Coordinate new member prospects through: tours, walk-ups, telephone inquiries, referrals, guest passes etc. Achieve daily and weekly prospecting goals.
- Effectively use Daxko Engage for Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement of members, new members and community members.
- Know and review all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance
with YMCA policies, procedures, completes related reports as required. - Builds effective, authentic relationships with members and program participants; helps them connect with each
other and the Y. Identifies potential volunteers. - Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of the YMCA and our three areas of focus: youth development,
healthy living, and social responsibility. - Ability to articulate and model the Y’s four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
- Attends all staff meetings and in-service training.
- Wear required and approved uniform items at all time.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- 2-3 years of experience in the field of customer service.
- 1 year of prior supervisor experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in the field of membership, programs, and fitness, preferred.
