About the Job:
The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority is looking for an Administrative Assistant I, to provide excellent support and customer service as the front desk receptionist for our Administration Building. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and will handle calls regarding the San Diego International Airport. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, a positive attitude, and strong customer service skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet guests, employees, Board members, and members of the public when they visit the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority’s (SDCRAA) Administration Building; provide customer service to visitors assisting with checking in, parking validation, directions, etc...
- Screens and manages telephone calls, providing information and addressing sensitive issues while prioritizing and routing incoming correspondence appropriately for general questions regarding San Diego International Airport (SAN). May also respond to online inquiries and questions regarding SAN, our tenants, and facilities.
- Distributes and sorts all incoming mail for SDCRAA; properly meters and postage all outgoing mail; arranges for FedEx pick-ups and receives deliveries.
- Helps to ensure a smooth flow for visitors and guests of SDCRAA employees; provides a positive experience for those calling in with inquiries regarding SAN and guests for SDCRAA; maintains a welcoming environment at the front desk reception for all visitors.
