Cogo Nation is growing, and we’re looking for a detail-driven, adaptable Accounting Assistant to join our internal finance team. This is a hands-on for someone who thrives in structured systems, communicates well across teams, and is ready to support a growing company.

In this position, you’ll handle the daily flow of deposits, reconciliations, mail processing, check runs, and data entry across multiple systems and departments. You’ll also be a point of contact for internal teams and external partners.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

• Record daily merchant deposits, ACH transactions, and check logs
• Reconcile deposits from Lake City Servicing and monitor wire activity
•  Prepare bank deposits, handle petty cash/gift card reconciliations
• Assist with Realeflow invoice reconciliation in coordination with Sales
• Prepare commission summaries for HR (bi-weekly)
• Assist with A/R reduction by sending statements and contacting JV partners
• Provide backup support for A/P, HUD approvals, and wire documentation
• Process and scan incoming mail, and maintain electronic records
• Print and mail checks: A/P, fee releases, investor checks
• Set up utility accounts and assist with property-related calls
• Participate in bank runs and assist with general administrative support

WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting assistant experience, OR an Associate’s degree
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Organized, focused, and able to prioritize 
• Comfortable with routine tasks and administrative work
• Able to follow direction from multiple departments and teammates
• Friendly, professional, and trustworthy with sensitive information

ITS GREAT IF YOU HAVE: 

• Experience using NetSuite (preferred)
•  Experience using QuickBooks

Pay Rate: $24 - $25/Hourly
