Description
This pivotal role supports the Sales & Marketing departments’ efforts to meet sales goals and market share objectives. Approximate sales volume is 150 million brick per year.
The Sales & Marketing coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales efforts of 11 salespersons. Important to the success of this role will be the ability to multi-task performing several functions concurrently.
Requirements
Price File Management:
- Maintain all price files for facebrick, paver, thin brick, and special shape brick in Business Central, covering distributor and local markets.
- Ensure accuracy of pricing, and update as needed.
- Produce and distribute price lists for all markets, including special pricing for key customers and markets.
Certifications & Documentation:
- Create and distribute letters of certification upon request in a timely and accurate manner.
Pricing & Quotations:
- Provide price quotes as requested, ensuring quick and efficient responses to internal and external stakeholders.
Order Processing & Coordination:
- Process and coordinate orders for direct national accounts, ensuring smooth order fulfillment and communication.
Showroom Support:
- Serve as backup for the Winston-Salem showroom counter when the team is short-staffed, assisting customers and providing necessary product information.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Compile shipment reports monthly including by sales area and by plant.
- Compile and distribute the "News from the Field" report on a monthly basis, keeping teams informed of relevant updates.
Educational, Experience, & Skill Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar Sales and Marketing Coordinator or administrative support role, with a strong track record of success in supporting sales efforts.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling pricing, orders, and customer communications.
- Familiarity with Business Central or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Notary Public certification.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- This role is based at the Winston-Salem office and requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to twist, stoop, and bend regularly.
