The work we do matters. We invite you to explore the opportunity to join us and grow your career with us.

Primary Purpose of the Position

The primary role of the Investment Director is to support the growth of private equity investment strategy by leading commercial aspects of the business through representation in meetings and communications with institutional and intermediary prospects, clients, consultants, and internal staff.

The Investment Director will provide support during the formation and raising of the T. Rowe Price’s first dedicated private fund focusing on late stage private companies. This first dedicated fund is an extension of the same strategy T. Rowe Price has historically executed from our mutual fund and separate account programs. The Investment Director will assist with all non-deal-execution workstreams across product formation, marketing, distribution and investor relations. This role will serve as a subject matter expert to internal sales, marketing and other functional areas for overall strategy and investment activity.

To that end, the Investment Director will provide significant leverage to the investment team and allow them to devote the majority of their time and effort to the sourcing and investment process.

The Investment Director also works closely with sales, consultant relations, client service and other internal staff to communicate relevant information regarding the investment strategies supported, including reviewing investment performance, portfolio composition and characteristics, rationale investment decisions, etc. The Investment Director will work closely with sales and client service professionals across Global Distribution to represent the strategy in meetings and presentations.
