Who We’re Looking For

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Technology team is looking for a highly motivated person to fill a role as an SAP S/4 Hana and SAP Fioneer FPSL Tech Lead.

You will play a central part in shaping the direction of our critical financial architecture, translating accounting requirements and standards (IFRS & US GAAP) into scalable, high-performance solutions within S/4HANA and SAP Fioneer FPSL. You’ll partner closely with enterprise architects and finance stakeholders. From designing the data flow between the Source Data Layer (SDL) and the General Ledger to mentoring technical and functional team members on S/4Hana and SAP Fioneer FPSL, you’ll be directly involved in the foundational systems that drive our financial reporting integrity.

We’re looking for someone who brings SAP S/4 technical expertise alongside functional accounting process knowledge. 

What you’ll be doing

Design and implement scalable financial architectures using SAP S/4HANA General Ledger and SAP Fioneer FPSL (Financial Products Subledger).

Architect the end-to-end data flow from source systems to the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), ensuring data integrity across Multi-GAAP ledgers.

Work with accounting and finance to align technical solutions with accounting requirements.

Bring structure to ambiguous regulatory requirements through sound engineering judgment and deep understanding of the subledger/ledger architecture.

Own critical components of the Result Data Layer (RDL) and Subledger Journal, driving performance, reliability, and auditability.

Mentor junior engineers and functional consultants, elevating team standards through design reviews and technical leadership in ABAP and HANA modeling.

Uphold best practices in system performance tuning, batch processing, and integration logic, ensuring the financial close process is fast and reliable.
