Our Endava family is growing! We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our North American sales & Marketing team as a high-impact professional in our Private Equity Sector. The successful candidate will be expected to play a significant part in the growth and development of the Private Equity Sector in the USA over the coming years.This is an exciting and demanding role suited to a candidate with existing relationships in Private Equity in the US. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new Private Equity clients. Specific focus is on generating new client revenue from technology due diligence and value-creation activities.
The Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of professional services business development, management, and/or consulting experience, with first-hand knowledge of Private Equity and transactional services. A sound understanding of technology and its impact on investment decisions and the capability to drive value in portfolio businesses is essential. The successful candidate will have existing relationships with Private Equity investment teams/funds in the mid-large cap space.


Main responsibilities:

  • Identify potential target clients through lead generation strategies, cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
  • Be responsible for owning and achieving an agreed revenue target by developing new private equity client relationships, responding to their due diligence and post-deal requirements (leading and guiding clients as required).
  •  Expected to generate net new leads with target private equity funds and develop an active deal pipeline throughout the year
  •  Understand the PE deal life cycle process, able to produce and deliver pitches
  • Execute an end-to-end client sales cycle focused on the sales process from the acquisition of new clients to closing deals and driving revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects by researching and contacting prospects in alignment with sales goals.
  •  Negotiate, manage, and close new deals.
  • Build revenue-generating relationships with investment professionals in key Private Equity funds, Corporate Finance partners, strategy advisors, and other key players in our ecosystem in the US.
  •  Work with the broader business development team to define, implement, and maintain the company’s Sales and Marketing strategy.
  • Ensure the consistent application of all required internal processes, standards, templates, etc. in support of the company’s sales and marketing activities.
  • Contributing to and supporting the future growth and expansion of the Endava Private Equity Sector as it expands its service offerings and grows in North America.

Required Skills and Experience:

  •  10 years of business development and sales experience, owning and delivering revenue targets and general commercial management, preferably with first-hand knowledge of Private Equity and transactional services. An understanding of how technology can be leveraged for value creation is essential.
  • Existing relationships with private equity deal teams are a plus
