As Stavvy’s Senior People Operations Associate, you will play a meaningful role supporting our People & Culture team reporting into our Manager, People Operations. The Senior People Ops Associate will have the opportunity to build strong partnerships with our People Managers and provide coaching and guidance on all people management topics. This role will manage key initiatives that support the full employment lifecycle for our Stavviators from on-boarding through off-boarding. You will be responsible for supporting employees on a day-to-day basis and answering questions about employee benefits and company policies.

As Stavvy’s Senior People Operations Associate, you will play a meaningful role supporting our People & Culture team reporting into our Manager, People Operations. The Senior People Ops Associate will have the opportunity to build strong partnerships with our People Managers and provide coaching and guidance on all people management topics. This role will manage key initiatives that support the full employment lifecycle for our Stavviators from on-boarding through off-boarding. You will be responsible for supporting employees on a day-to-day basis and answering questions about employee benefits and company policies.
What You'll Do
- Relationship Management: Build and develop relationships with our key stakeholders and people managers to provide thought partnership and subject matter expertise on people management best practices, systems and resources
- Talent Management: Partner with people managers to understand business needs and support organizational development; structure, performance management, and talent development
- Benefits Management: Partner with Benefits Administrator to address employee benefit inquiries, support annual open enrollment process, leave administration, and requests for accommodation
- Payroll Administration: Support bi-weekly payroll processing including overseeing the completion of state registrations for payroll
- Compliance: Own and drive People/HR compliance processes and audits, processing and responding to unemployment claims, managing/updating Stavvy’s policies
- Organizational Effectiveness: Evaluate and recommend best practices in the application of people processes, systems and policies
- Administration: Partner with the greater People Ops team to respond to day-to-day employee request/questions through our ticketing queue
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in a Generalist People/HR role
- Ability to manage the details while striking a balance between understanding the overall vision and objective
- Strong interpersonal skills - facilitating learning, responding to inquiries, and creating collaborative partnerships across the organization
- Possess a growth mindset about yourself and others, championing learning opportunities
- Strong organizational skills – you’re adept at managing multiple priorities at once
