What You’ll Do:

Troubleshoot and repair general maintenance issues, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks

Respond quickly to guest requests with professionalism and care

Responsibilities:
- Assists in maintaining a safe environment for hotel employees and guests by responding to all maintenance requests.
- Performs preventive maintenance regarding plumbing and electrical systems such as checking outlets and pipe systems.
- Repairs furniture & structures such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, window, counters, & others.
- Completes painting projects, wallpaper repair/hanging and finishing of furniture and structures.
- Checks electrical systems such as refrigeration controls, television sets, and lighting systems, and makes minor repairs.
- Checks and makes minor repairs to HVAC systems, & fixtures, such as pipelines, toilets & sinks.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as a maintenance engineer or repairman in a high-volume hotel or resort.
- Degree, certification, or training in engineering is a plus.
- Ability to use general repair tools, read basic drawings and specifications and make rough estimates of required material.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stand and walk frequently.
- Developed English skills both written and orally.
