The cashier is responsible for the redemption of slot tickets, table games chips, credit card transactions, check cashing, and player’s club transactions.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Interact with all guests and employees to positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and demonstrate resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with team members.
Ensure at all times operating principles are being adhered to:
Clean – Keep all areas clean and pristine.
Safe – Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Friendly – Use customer courtesy skills of Family Style Service to provide superior guest service.
Fun – Have fun! Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.
Responsible for cashing customers out, giving correct change, and answering customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift.
Keep cash drawer balanced and impressed and make exchanges with vault.
Proper payout of slot jackpots, marker issuance and redemption, and chip fills.
Verifying and documenting personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions.
Completing CTRs, CCTLs, and MTLs.
Responsible for guest relations. Ensure safety and security of internal and external guests.
Responsible for players club transactions, including, but not limited to: printing cards, bonus point redemptions, issuing comps, and issuing drawing entries for promotions.
Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to the use of personal computer, 10-key calculator, jet sorter, photocopier, facsimile machine, and currency counter. Cash advantage system, telephone, and check guarantee system.
Ability to read, speak clearly and hear.
Ability to complete forms
Basic mathematical functions.
Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations
Knowledge of all special events and promotional activities
Knowledge of company policies and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act, and internal controls
Good communication skills
Ability to accurately perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and an interruptive environment
Must possess the ability to move effectively and efficiently throughout the cage
- Standing 75%
- Bending/Lifting 20% (up to 60lbs)
- Carrying 5%
Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoked filled casino environment with high noise levels.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Six months cashier or banking experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude at all times.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Must complete all required company training.
